Today we headed over to a local
bike trail for a family bike ride. The last time we rode this trail Lily was still riding in the bike seat on the back of Luke's bike and now she is riding on her own brand new two wheeler...that girl is growing up fast (and did I mention that she just lost her first two teeth this week?)! She did not come out unscathed however...managing to fall off her bike and bloody her knee shortly after we started off. She was a trooper though and continued on albeit slowly. We rode to a waterfall and took a short hike down to see it and when we got back on our bikes Lil' had a renewed energy for the trip back. She said, "I'm getting good at ignoring my boo boo by just concentrating on my riding!"
Noah has been bugging us for a while to get back to that trail so finally we did and we had a great time despite the mishap. He lead the way most of the time and wished we could have kept going. Hopefully we will do it more often and see what more we can see of the trail.
